#SaveJames or SaveJames.com – This hashtag went viral last night. And with good reason. James needs to be saved.
James is a 7 year old boy who has been trying to survive the reality of living with two divorced parents. Sadly we all know this is not uncommon in our culture. When parents can’t get along we know the consequences can be devastating for children. Many of us who have experienced parental alienation can relate to the problems our children suffer with. In this situation James has an additional problem. A problem that could be irreversible.
His Mother thinks he needs to have surgery to become a girl because she says he is transgender. His Father says that he only acts like a girl in front of his mother and he rejects being a boy in front of his Father. The father, Jeff Younger is trying to prevent his son from being chemically castrated. Mr. Younger has been struggling just to get his seven year old son a second medical opinion.
After the recording of this episode but before we posted it we received a glimmer of hope. The Governor of Texas Greg Abbott tweeted out the following message.

This is fantastic news! But its not over. The jury handed down a verdict on Monday. The Judge was scheduled to read the final decision tomorrow at 1:30 PM. Please do whatever you can to help. Post this podcast on social media with the #SaveJames attached. Go to SaveJames.com and donate to help with the upcoming legal bills that are sure to mount up quickly.
