Mankind is currently working to put human beings on Mars. In this weeks show we discuss how it might go down, what challenges the crew will face settling such a desolate planet and how National Graphic’s new show Mars got some parts of it right and other parts vastly wrong.

Part 1 – Intro
In the first half of the show Ryan and Will discuss life and creating it as well as some things they are looking forward to in the coming months. Will discussed growing up in Atlanta and how excited he is as a long time Falcons fan to see them compete in Super Bowl 51. Past super bowls have had lackluster performances both at halftime and in the commercial breaks. Will this year be any different?
Part 2 – Mars: Our Journey to the Red Planet
There has been a spike in interest in travelling to Mars in recent years both in Hollywood and in advancements in the field of Science. Billionaires like Elon Musk have created companies solely dedicated to putting man on the red planet. What does Antarctica have to do with space travel? Will we find life on Mars or learn anything about our own existence?
In the main segment of the show Ryan and Will discuss a new documentary style Sci-Fi called Mars that aired on National Geographic at the end of 2016. They dive into what worked on the show and how great some of the theories will go and talk about other problems that could come up not covered in the show. They also discuss how they think it will actually go down when we actually travel to space.
