Just like anything else in the geek universe, or the real one for that matter, there are two sides.  Star Trek versus Star Wars. Harry versus Frodo. Optimus Prime versus Megatron.  This week we take on the raging geek battle between Marvel vs DC.  Marvel Comics versus DC Comics are huge in its own right.  Both have been around a very long time, and both have a wide variety of characters, but who is the best?   Who can claim superior?  Who has the better films of late?  Will and Ryan go into full debate about the two universes, and who stands above the other.

First Part:
To start the show, Ryan went into a bit of “Airing of Grievance” about Windows 10, and having issues with his new upgrade.  The guys also discussed the latest shooting in Austin, and the negative world we currently find ourselves in.
Ryan also got up to speed on “Stranger Things” the new Netflix show that is a nod to many genres, and maybe a specific nod to “Super 8”.  They went into a full discussion on Netflix in general and all the great things about the media company.
Main Part:
For the main portion of the show, Will and Ryan discussed the good and bad from both DC and Marvel.  Marvel has had a long running of better films over the last 10 years, while DC has a better depth of Super Villain.  They guys discussed their favorite characters from both franchise.  In the end however, but Will and Ryan came to a conclusion that Marvel had better material.  That isn’t to say that DC doesn’t have it’s highlights, one primary example would be Heath Ledger’s  Joker from “The Dark Knight”
