May. Already. We hope that we are not the only ones struggling to come to terms with how fast this year is moving. Just over three weeks away from the 2014 Comrades Marathon and even better news is that three weeks after that is the winter solstice and then the downhill slide to summer starts!

The second Spar Ladies Race took place in Port Elizabeth and Diana Lebo Phalula won in a pretty impressive time of 32:27 which was the fastest 10km time in for a long time. On this week’s Run Talk SA Ursula Vlismas has all the details and an interview with the winner.

This past weekend I stumbled across a business called Run Cape Town on Twitter. This week on the podcast the Philippa Jephson joins us to tell us about the business and the unique running sightseeing tours she offers in the Mother City. Philippa tells us about the five tours they currently facilitate including the historical city tour, the Lions Head run, the Table Mountain run, the Gugulethu run and the Darling run.

As mentioned on the podcast you can check out the latest Comrades Marathon webinar here. Also the three Comrades race day podcasts on the Ask Coach Parry podcast can be accessed here, here and here.
