Have you noticed how a lot of recent TV shows, and movies for that matter, add in what I call the musical introspection section? That’s where a character in the movie goes for a walk, or a drive, or even sits in front of a fireplace or on a porch. And they have a drink in their hands. Or maybe it’s some object of a long-lost friend. But it doesn’t matter. Point is, the character is obviously trying to answer a lot of questions. And all this happens as a mood-setting song plays in the background.

OK, let’s say you’re the actor. And you’re in the musical introspection scene.

Wow, I think you’re really getting into this part. And if I didn’t know better, I’d say you’re not acting. And I might even guess all these questions might sound way too familiar to you.
Am I right?
