News Espresso: 2nd impeachment hearing opens with U.S. diplomat, American IS suspect repatriated from Turkish-Greek border, astronauts start spacewalk series

The House is in its second day of President Trump's live impeachment hearings over his actions toward Ukraine. The former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine - who was suddenly recalled back to the U.S. by Trump - is testifying. More witnesses are set for next week. The student who police say opened fire at his Los Angeles-area high school on Thursday....killing two teenagers and wounding three others...remains in critical condition after shooting himself. Classes at the high school are canceled for today. Turkey's interior minister says an American Islamic State group suspect who was stranded in a no man's land between Greece and Turkey has been deported to the U.S. The minister says the man was put on a plane on Friday. Astronauts have begun an extraordinarily complicated series of spacewalks to fix a cosmic ray detector at the International Space Station. NASA says the spectrometer, which is searching for elusive antimatter and dark matter, was never meant to undergo space surgery....but it's cooling system's almost dead.
