r(E)vo Convo 55: A conversation with William Rockhill

March 14, 2014

William Rockhill started Bear Creek Carpentry in 1991. Nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks the company boasts over 30 years of carpentry experience.

Aside from tiny houses BCC is well known for its prefabricated mini cabins and cabins, playhouses, storage sheds, adirondack furniture, complete homes, timber frames, conventionally framed homes and log cabins. They also build additions, decks, docks, boat houses, commercial structures, pole barns, garages and custom log work.

Perhaps the most attractive thing about William and BCC though is his commitment to excellence. Not only is he a woodworker but he is an artist, taking pride in each of his constructs. As a father he has also raised his children to appreciate the same values and to also be excellent craftsmen.

Laura and I approached William about being on the show so we could talk to him about the structural integrity and attention to detail that is essential in making a safe and attractive tiny house!
