in this episode i talk about the poetry of laura goldstein !! laura is a chicago poet whose work experiments aggressively with the sound and structure of its language. her 2014 book awesome camera moves repeatedly back and forth between poetic experimentation and political commentary.

the first 1:50 of the podcast includes a rant about cloud types, then i start discussing and reading from laura's book. i address the meter and rhyme that caught my ear, the way political language appears in and frames the work, and the moments that made me giddy as a reader.
