He's a contributor to the WBEZ podcast Pleasuretown and is an active member of the Chicago Storytelling Scene, performing at Write Club, Paper Machete, You're Being Ridiculous, and Seven Deadly Sins. Ryan lives in Chicago with his life partner, asthma.​
