As bad as things are today, April 23, 2024, as we stare at insane and evil overlords who have captured our nation, and now seek to start World War III….I thought today it might be encouraging for us to consider times in which our forebears suffered EVEN WORSE horrors than what each of us experience now. None of those earlier horrors, which are hard for us to viscerally feel, simply because we weren’t there, could not be as horrific as a nuclear World War III would certainly be….but, at least for the moment, that World War III has not yet been launched by the Chuck U. Shumers and Emmanuel Macrons of the “Western” “elite” who have hijacked our true Western Civilization. As Donald Trump said, in Warsaw, in 2017: “The question is whether we have the will to defend Western Civilization”. That divinely beautiful civilization that, should we succeed in defending it, will go on for centuries more, to produce generation upon generation of creators of ineffable beauty like (among my personal heavenly favorites) Alison Krauss, Emmy Lou Harris, and Kate (nee Allen) Wolf.
