Retired NICU nurse Marianne Bracht offers practical advice for decreasing your risk of transmitting RSV to your preemie, as well as dealing with your expectations and anxieties as a parent or family member. Marianne Bracht is a retired neonatal nurse, with more than four decades experience. Throughout her nursing career she created and co-led parent education programs and participated in international research on Family Integrated Care. A member of the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation, she oversees the education committee and is the project coordinator for an ongoing research pilot, looking at improving the transition of families and infants to home and the community.
