Pray Every Day

Pray Every Day

Psalm 126

August 09, 2021

Today’s Scripture:

Our enemies took us away from Zion.    But when the Lord brought us home,    it seemed like a dream to us.2 Our mouths were filled with laughter.    Our tongues sang with joy. Then the people of other nations said,    “The Lord has done great things for them.”3 The Lord has done great things for us.    And we are filled with joy.

4 Lord, bless us with great success again,    as rain makes streams flow in the Negev Desert.5 Those who cry as they plant their crops    will sing with joy when they gather them in.6 Those who go out weeping    as they carry seeds to plantwill come back singing with joy.    They will bring the new crop back with them.

WANT MORE FROM YOUR PRAYER LIFE? If you’re dissatisfied with your prayer life, wanting to be more consistent in prayer, or looking to deepen your intimacy with God, then this Bible study was written for you.
This 8-week study teaches readers how to pray by “listening” to the powerful prayers of prophets, warriors, and kings in Scripture. Crickett looks at the heart behind the prayers of these men and women, including: Jesus, Paul, Job, Hannah, David, Asa, Jehoshaphat and Nehemiah. How did they approach God? What motivated them to pray? How did they pray? How did their relationship with God deepen as a result of their prayers?
