The events in Ferguson have propelled a much needed conversation about race, systemic injustice, and what it means to be black in America. The church and all people of faith can bury our heads in the sand of therapeutic rhetoric or we can engage with open hearts and minds. We have a deep call for doing justice as communities of faith, but what does that mean in light of the events in Ferguson.
