Mas, infelizmente, a vida não é um filme e estamos cada vez mais longe dessa imagem de perfeição que as gerações anteriores construíram e esperam. Hoje, enfrentamos crises econômicas mundiais, falta de emprego para mão de obra altamente especializada e uma infinidade de desafios que não fizeram parte de outras gerações.

Enquanto isso, pesquisas europeias apontam que os trinta são a última década da juventude, que acaba aos 40, enquanto A percepção geral é que a velhice começa aos 62 e os anos Intermediários seriam a real meia-idade. Mesmo assim, os trinta ainda carregam crises existenciais, pressão do relógio biológico para ter filhos e aumento na insatisfação com trabalho.
