One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a John Deere 6R Series tractor. He lay on his comfortable cabin-like back, and if he lifted his headlight a little he could see his exhaust pipe, pointing upright and curved stiffly away from the cabin at the end. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many wheels, huge compared with the size of the rest of him, rolled about helplessly as he looked.
