In episode 15 of A Podful of Saints our two Podsters from Clarence Park, Jake and Dave, get to reflect on a good week for St Albans City that saw Ian Allinson’s side draw at Hemel Hempstead Town in the Herts Charity Cup and then win at Welling United in the National League South. A round-up of news from the League will include a look at the growing number of managers currently looking for a new job. The guest on the show this week is Michael Hill, who oversees the running of the Club website and was co-founder of the supporters group Stand By Your Saints. Michael may not quite be in the class of City greats from down the years but his family roots are steeped in football history. There will also be a certain amount of self-congratulatory back slapping after Jake correctly predicted the outcome of the Hemel match…that is now two correct predictions in 19 games.
