In the third edition of A Podful of Saints our resident hosts from Clarence Park, Jake Ellacott and Dave Tavener, take a look back at how well, or otherwise, St Albans City coped on the opening day of the National League South season at home to Chippenham Town. They will also cast a beady eye over other goings-on within the League over weekend and then ponder how Ian Allinson’s boys will bring back six points from the first away games of the season at Dartford (6th August) and Dulwich Hamlet (10th August).

The duo give their verdict on that evening and also discuss the problems that the football, and other sports users, are encountering due to new parking restrictions put in place around Clarence Park earlier this year.
