Animal Wise Radio highlights guests with hustle, drive, and huge dose of forward thinking.

We'll meet Linda Baxter, Exec. Dir. of Memphis Pets Alive, a group aimed at saving lives and shining a light on Memphis Animal Services. This shelter has been known among animal advocates as a needlessly deadly place. So what happens when advocates commit, hustle, and network, to offer help and lifesaving alternatives? Animal Farm Foundation's, Caitlin Quinn, also joins us today. AFF has been on the forefront of advocacy for those dogs we categorize as "Pit" type dogs. Their drive to educate and network these dogs is a model for changing policies, hearts and minds across the country. Their Majority Project is a testament to the relationship between families and their pittie pups. (AnimalFarmFoundation.org)

And don't miss Michael Mountain as he speaks to the meeting between satirist, Steven Colbert and Steven Wise of the Non-Human Rights Project. (EarthInTransition.org)
