Join Mike and Beth today on Animal Wise Radio as we focus in on companion animals and the No-Kill movement.

We'll look back and ahead with the No Kill Advocacy Center's Director of Publications, Jennifer Winograd. Her work as an animal advocate predates the San Francisco SPCA's groundbreaking work that laid the foundation for the No-Kill Equation. We'll talk with her about what it was like to be in a front seat then and now, as the film, Redemption, is screened across the country, and even as the Humane Society of the United States presents data at their national conference supporting the notion that there ARE homes for all shelter pets. We'll also ponder some subject that stir debate among animal advocates - the pit bull type dogs that challenge our assumptions, and animal transports.

With Michael Mountain of EarthInTransition.org, we'll enjoy sounds and thoughts about music from nature, as it comes from the 'Cricket Chorus.'
