Jesse Liebman discusses why people choose to guard against revealing the real them until and undisclosed moment in time. Often times individuals won't share their authentic self because they're scared or embarrassed scared by poor past experiences and afraid of having judgement cast upon them. To improve our authenticity we must perform an internal review to discover who the real you truly is. Afterwards, we need to take the leap of faith and own who we are. Finally, and most importantly, we need to stay the course and ignore the noise.
