Parental Geekery

Parental Geekery

Episode 51 - A Multitude of Synonyms

January 11, 2015

Welcome back to Parental Geekery, where we’d like to wish you a very Happy New Year. We’re back after taking a little break over Christmas, with a suitably Big Opening.

Join us as we ramble through our world of parenting and geekery. This week John talks about playing Elite: Dangerous, but it’s not long before he starts talking about his new camera, which leads onto discussion about daily photo projects, Blipfoto and iPhones and other camera phones.

We talk about our Christmas, which was mostly all about time with kids. We managed to fit in two cinema trips and really enjoyed both Paddington and Annie.

The thesaurus comes into play!

And finally, with a warning to anyone who is listening with small children, we talk about what happened when Catherine figured out the whole Santa thing. She did it on Christmas Eve, no less!

We finish up talking about the presents that seem to have proved most popular with the kids this year.
