Episode 48 - Nestling in Your Lugholes

November 09, 2014

Well would you look at that. Two episodes in the space of two weeks? We are spoiling you! As the show opens we talk a little bit about why we’re so busy at the moment, and a little bit about our hard summer.

We didn’t go to Alton Towers today. But we did get to see The Boxtrolls at the cinema finally. We then talk a bit about The Book of Life which Ruth took the kids to see recently, and compare both movies from a parent’s point of view.

We lead into talk about superheroes, covering Disney Infinity 2, John watching Rise of the Dark Knight on Amazon Instant Video and we then talk about superhero movies for kids.

Thanks to Ruth winning a competition through the Tots100 blogging network we’ve had the loan of a Kia Carens for the last two weeks, and we talk about how we found it.

We touch briefly on Music streaming and bemoan the lack of a family plan for Google Play Music. We can but hope it’s coming soon.

There is some discussion over Trick or Treating. Ruth wrote about how we are a family divided over this activity on her blog last week. John talks about his experiences of taking the kids Trick or Treating for the first time, and how they found it.

Finally john talks about the re-launch of his Photowalkthrough site – he’d love you to check it out as he’s very pleased with it!
