In this episode, interviews abound, and we have an entire show pretty much devoted to the guys at Aegis Publishing. We start talking about comics, because that’s a thing we do. Discuss Nick Pitarra and his friends making a cameo in the latest The Manhattan Projects, get in the new releases for the week, and Leo is excited about Punk Rock Jesus, of course. We skip StumbleUpon and jump straight into the Web Comic of the Week instead. We start off with an interview that Leo conducted with Mark Frankel and Alex Sapountzis, creators of the web comic Damn Heroes. After the interview (roughly 27 minutes in), we discuss the web comic. It’s still pretty new, but definitely check it out at the link below. After that, we talk about our Comic of the Week, which there are two of! First up, is an interview (roughly 63 minutes in) that Leo did with Mark Frankel and Joshua Jones, co-creators of Horsemen and writer and editor, respectively, of The Ascendant. After that, we review and discuss the two comics. For an indie comic, they’re quite good and we give them about a 7.5 on average. We then sign off for the week. Check out the myriad of links below!
