  • Scott and Guenter specialize in user experience and Facebook Marketing. (3:26)
  • Scott started off as a Scottish kid named Scott. (5:20)
  • Scott also has a background in psychology. (5:45)
  • Became a “snow bum” and lived in Breckenridge and was part of the ski patrol. (6:20)
  • Was asked to help start a company (indie music); had to do a 60-second elevator pitches without knowing what it was. (7:20)

  • Guenter was born in Germany but lived in Chicago and jumped in the corporate world as a government contractor (10:50)
  • The pressures of the corporate world did not set well with Guenter and he felt he didn’t have a soul.  He did learn technology from a “genius” of technology and went that direction ultimately. (11:45)
  • If someone is better at what you do, let them handle that piece.  You have to release control at some point.  (13:10)
  • Owners of companies need to relinquish some control or off-load some work to the experts. (13:10)

  • Boosting posts is not effective use of the money spent in Facebook marketing though the Facebook Ads Manager.(18:20)
  • You won’t find the ads manager if you create it through a Fans page. (21:00)
  • Page like ads are a whole different animal.  Page advertisements, driving customers to a certain landing page via Facebook is their larger focus.  Understand your audience and find out how to target them on Facebook. (25:10)
