Ep 23: How To Have An "Out Of The Box" Job Application & Land An Interview EVERY TIME with Paiman Vahdati

October 12, 2015

The best jobs never require a resume. So why the fuck are we spending so much of our time in the wrong places?

Paiman Vahdati knew that in order to get a job at his dream company Indiegogo, he had to be different. Paiman had to stand out of the crowd and get NOTICED. But there were a few problems:

The position he wanted never even existed
Indiegogo weren't hiring. There were no open applications for any position on the website or other job boards.
He knew no one that worked at Indiegogo.

Yet in only a few weeks, how did Paiman get an interview with Indiegogo's Head of Marketing!?!?!

Paiman used the creative approach to job searching, which has proved highly effective for not only Paiman but many other creative and ambitious job seekers.

He created a unique resume in the form of an Indiegogo campaign and tailored everything specifically for the company.

Check out his resume here: Indiegogo Resume

Paiman used many different forms of outreach to get the team's attention and luckily for him, this creative approach worked.

In this episode, we show you exactly what Paiman did to get noticed and what YOU can do to take a similar creative approach and use it for any job that you want to apply for.

I seriously think this is the best way to apply for a job if you have no relationships with anyone who works there.

Does it take work? Yeah
Does it take a lot of time? Yeah
Will it be worth it? Fuck yeah.
