Ep 15: How to Self-Direct Your Learning To Achieve What You Really Want with Blake Boles

September 09, 2015

What does it mean to self direct your learning? Does that mean you have to drop out of school and isolate yourself in your room? Or self study a gazilion textbooks and read all day?
I'm so glad to have Blake Boles, author of Better Than College and The Art of Self-Directed Learning on the podcast today. He's been featured on TEDx, The Huffington Post, and The New York Times and we dive deep into what self directed learning is, why we should do it, and how listeners can get started.
At the end, Blake orders listeners to pause the show to go out and just do it. It's a fun conversation and if you're new to alternative education or want to know more about learning, you're in for a treat.
