Some people see client meetings as simply fulfilling an obligation, a completion of a financial transaction.
Or to "fulfill the mission of the business." I like that better.
Whenever possible, however, I recommend viewing your client meetings from an even deeper lens:
Imagine that every session with a client is the Universe calling you to your highest service.
Truly, every client has been given to you by the Universe. Think about that for a moment. It is a divine opportunity, a Gift.
You are being given the chance to bring a little more love and wisdom into the client's life.
You are being given the chance to practice a little more mindfulness, gratitude, and excellence.
You and the client are being called to co-create a better world together.
With that perspective, begin your client meeting.

The way I have been implementing this idea lately is to ask my clients if we can take 30 seconds of silence right at the beginning of the meeting. I invite them to "breathe deeply, bring your presence into the room, and set a positive intention for this meeting."
I use the mobile app called Timer+ to set a 30-second countdown ending with the meditation chime sound -- https://goo.gl/UIruve -- and once it chimes, I open my eyes, wait for client's to open theirs, and we begin our meeting.
