Monique Samuels, Real Housewives of Potomac cast member and founder of Not For Lazy Moms, is a star in Our Town. She says she heard that a “happy gene” exists and she believes she has it and benefits from it. Her husband former Washington Redskins All Pro Chris Samuels attests to that. He says she wakes up happy and smiling no matter what. She has good memories from growing up in Pleasantville, New Jersey, and talks about how she almost became a lawyer but chose to go all in on a music career until she realized music industry politics wasn’t her cup of tea. Ironically, she and Chris met after she left the industry and he began working in it to start his own label.
