E8: 10 Tips for Surviving Grad School

January 05, 2013

Are you a current occupational therapy student or wanting to eventually go to school? If so, this episode is for you!

In this episode, I share my top 10 Tips_for_surviving_grad_school. These tips were taken from my experience in the program and the skills I learned along the way. Some of the tips  are things that I felt I did well, others are things I wished I had done. One HUGE thing I wish I had done early on, was to get more organized. Learn from my mistakes, do not wait until the last second to organize all your school folders.

As promised, here is a picture of one of my book shelves with my folders organized.

In this episode, I also discuss how I used “study guides” to help me prepare for quizzes/tests. Here is an example of a few of the study guides I made.

I hope that by sharing them with you, you will have the best experience possible! Enjoy your time as a student, it will be over before you know it!

If you have any tips that helped YOU as a student, I’d love to hear them! Feel free to leave a comment!
