Your favorite Disney Restaurant versus Your favorite Universal Restaurant!

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 169 and our feature topic this week is our Your favorite Disney Restaurant versus Your favorite Universal Restaurant! Grab your favorite beverage, sit back, and relax, and tell us in the comments below what you think! Here’s the rundown of what we talked about:

  • Cheddar from the Big Cheese
    • Brenda: May 1st kicked off the start of Disney Cruise Line’s 25th Anniversary Season! They’re calling it their Silver Anniversary at Sea. With a signature song called Shimmering Seas, new character attire, themed food and beverages commemorating the anniversary, and new entertainment and merchandise, there is something for everyone!
    • Sophie: Former head of Walt Disney Imagineering Bob Weis was honored with a window at Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently. Located above the Hollywood & Vine restaurant, the window reads: Flower Street Pictures; Bob Weis, Studio Head; “Our Productions Entertain the World”, and is a fitting tribute to a man who’s Disney career spanned over 40 years!
    • Mike: Adventures by Disney is expanding their destinations in 2024, and one of the locations you can take an Adventure to is Colombia, the country that provided the inspiration for the film Encanto! This Adventure is an 8 day, 7 night journey for Guests ages 5 and up, and starts at $4,999 per adult. In addition to Colombia, in 2024 you can also take in the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and an adventure to New Zealand!
