If you hadn’t heard, Houston is BOOMING.  The city has been cashing in on the oil boom, and cranes are everywhere.

In fact, the growth is so explosive, some are saying that Houston will soon surpass Chicago as the nation’s 3^rd largest city by population.  And even though things are slowing down some with lower oil prices, Houston has diversified.

The Woodlands, a development on the north side of town first envisioned by the same titan who unlocked commercial fracking, George Mitchell, has exploded.  The city added over 500,000 new jobs to its economy since 2009.  This is just one of the many success stories brought on by the shale revolution.

The Saudis are trying to tap growth like this down, but I know America will prevail in the end.
