Shalom! Did any of the reports of the barley declare Aviv (abib)? The answer to that question is NO! Why are people confused about when to begin the year? It is because of the twisting of simple Scriptures. Those who are saying the year began with the previous new moon are saying that the Barley has to be Aviv (abib) before "Wave Sheaf Day", while those of us who are observing a 13th month are saying that it has to be ready to HARVEST by the "Wave Sheaf Day." Who is correct? We must let the SIMPLE Scriptures reveal the TRUTH. Too many times we are lured into falsehood based on MAN'S opinion of Scripture. Sadly many are discounting the report of the "Jews" because of antisemitism that they brought over from christianity. I guess I should say that those men haven't actually left christianity in the first place... They say thing like, "We don't want to follow the Jewish Calendar." The sad thing about this ANTI-SEMITISM is the fact that without our brother Judah, we would not have the TORAH today! Yehovah CHOSE JUDAH to keep the Torah alive, and now many are throwing them under the bus... This is a HORRIBLE ERROR! So many people are trying to convince pagan christianity that the Torah is true. CAST YOUR NETS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BOATS! Paul did not travel to churches to share the "gospel", but to the SYNAGOGUES to reason with our brothers! They might be able to teach us a little something about the biblical calendar, and if we would swallow our pride, we might learn something that Yehovah is trying to teach us! DO NOT FEAR THE REAPER! All of the Appointed Times of Yehovah revolve around the HARVEST! It is all in reference to specific reaping times of year. We must learn that the simple truth to these First Fruits offerings is that it is the First Fruits of THE HARVEST! Sadly many are caught in the fear that some of these men are throwing around, when we are told not to worry about what to eat TOMORROW!

You of little faith! 31“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
