Shalom! How do we reckon the Biblical Calendar? Is the Biblical Calendar different than the Hebrew Calendar, or the Jewish Calendar? These are all questions that many have today, and with the Aviv (abib) Barley search, there is a lot of confusion! Most of this confusion is being caused by men who are trying to twist the Scriptures, to justify their own calendar... This partially is because of their fear to line up with the rabbinic, or Jewish Calendar, and partially because of their misunderstanding of the Hebrew word Aviv, אָבִ֔יב. We discussed the topic of the Aviv Barley, and played a sound clip from a video that Yoel Halevi, of www.hebrewinisrael.net, posted this morning. We also had special guest Alphonzo Monzo N.D. on with us to discuss the deeper meaning behind the hebrew words that are used to describe these first fruits offerings!
