For many of us the holidays aren't just a time to reconnect with family, but old friends as well. Sometimes you end up getting together with unexpected combinations of people from different parts of your life in an effort to see everyone. For such a situation, there's no better ice breaker than some old but recognizable pop music that everyone can relate and get down to!

This isn't a hypothetical scenario. It's the situation I found myself in this weekend amongst a group of wonderful people from all parts of my life who came to celebrate the two year anniversary of this podcast with me. This two hour mix is largely modeled on what I played there and is filled to the brim with just about every jam in my collection. The first hour is mostly festive disco and 90's R&B. The second hour is pumping house with a familiar bent. It's not Christmas music, nor is it particularly cool underground music, but it's festive party music at it's finest as far as I'm concerned.
