Occasion Vibration
Daydream
In a world that emphasizes productivity, daydreaming is looked upon negatively because it represents ‘non-doing’. I’ve found, however, that sometimes the most productive thing I can do is to drop everything and let my mind wander. We statistically do less daydreaming as we grow older, so let this mix help set the mood for exploring your thoughts in a positive light.
This mix was created five years ago by my best friend Jason Ruff aka Fade On. As a connoisseur of his mixes, I’ve listened to many of them repeatedly, but none as frequent as this one. iTunes counts 29 complete plays for me, meaning I’ve spent nearly 60 hours listening to this beauty. It’s mostly gorgeous, downtempo/ambient introspective bliss, but like any great mix there are a number of twists along the way.
