Occasion Vibration

Spring Skiing

March 23, 2014

Spring skiing has a far more relaxed vibe than winter skiing. The rush to battle the elements in search of fresh snow is replaced by complacency to slow down and enjoy the sunny weather and vistas. It’s also far more affordable with Mt Hood Spring Passes starting at $99. Set the tone by listening to this latest Occasion Vibration heading down the slopes or on the drive up.

This mix is a bit of a walk down memory lane for me, featuring some progressive house/trance tracks I was into during my skiing apex (high school), some 80’s rock ingrained into me during formative ski trips with my dad, as well as modern renditions of both genres. I believe the unabashedly uplifting big room vibe of these selections suit the atmosphere of cruising through alpine heaven better than the dance floors they were intended for.
