NYSP 108: MLB Pitchers and Catchers Report 2015

February 16, 2015

NYSP 108: MLB Pitchers and Catchers Report 2015 to get the official start of the baseball season under way! I am amped up about this episode. We start off with about 25 minutes of Football talk covering the Jets, Giants, and Bills off season needs and who they have released. Who they may be going after and who needs to be resigned. Cap space is a huge issue for the Giants this year.

I then follow up the next 3o minutes covering the NY Mets and their Rankings per ESPN for this upcoming season and Matt Harvey's thoughts on the Alex Rodriguez saga in the Bronx. I then dive head first in to the biggest topic of the night before my phone call with Jim. The Yankees are planning on retiring the numbers of Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, and Bernie Williams. Are retired numbers saved for HOF'ers only? What are your thoughts?

I then start the second hour of this show with my friend Jim Kulhawy and his Rounding the Bases tour of hitting all the MLB ballparks and more! He started back in 2012 and his first stop was Yankee Stadium and I joined him, his two sons, and our Friend Rob to see him on his way through this journey. The trip is first and foremost all about baseball the ballparks but it has grown in to much more then just that. History and sites of each city. Food and culture, minor ball parks, Hall of Fames and more. A MUST listen for all baseball fans.

Check out Jim's blog documenting his trip Rounding the Bases and if you are interested hit him up on Facebook as well.  Of course if you are going over to FB you might as well go like our page as well.

Hope you enjoyed this episode, if you did, like the Facebook page and leave us feedback on iTunes.
