This is the first standup talk I’ve given in front of people in 10 years at least. Three points on the church I did not raise are evident in the physical setting so I raise them now:

1- the place is filled with children so you can nearly hear me, that is God’s opinion that we have a future.

2- if you want to listen it must be intentional. True faith is not the trick of staging and showmanship but of purpose and direction.

3- in a Biblical church there is no artificial structural constraint to pay attention, only the sincere desire to hear.
