All apologies for my longest NMM podcast episode ever (clocking in at over nine minutes) but I needed to provide a bit of a public service announcement (WITH GUITARS!). I didn’t want music fans in the US and the UK to be caught off-guard by the Black Friday Record Store Day  event happening this Friday. I also felt the need to go a bit long on the lack of participation with regard to the Thanks-GiveItToMe music box giveaway for November.  It’s genuinely perplexing to me that music fans would not have more interest in receiving a large, free box of records and CDs.  Especially given what great new music we’ve covered in the first few weeks of November:
