January 26, 2013

00:00-6:25: Opening Segment Short opinions and perspective on various topics. 06:25-08:20: Celtic Myth Podshow Promo The Celtic Myth Podshow can be found at http://www.celticmythpodshow.com 08:20-38:10: Topic Segment - Let There Be Peace Throughout the Entire World In the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (http://www.druidry.org), there is mention that Druids are looked upon as peace-makers. In fact, parts of the ritual ceremonies utilize the phrasing "let there be peace throughout the entire world". Over the past few years, I've noticed a trend towards the desire to be offended at the smallest slight. I first noticed it in the world of politics, and slowly, I've started to notice it within the Pagan community. I, for one, desire a world of peace - and while it may be overly idealistic and somewhat "hippy" of me (a term I wholeheartedly embrace) - I'm seeking that peaceful revolution - where we can talk with one another about our differences, accept that we all think differently as individuals - and walk away without being offended or angered over those differences. I've always heard that a revolution starts with a single individual - here I am. 38:10-38:52: Druidcast Promo Druidcast can be found at http://www.druidcast.libsyn.com 38:52-41:33: The Spoken Word I've always been a huge fan of William Blake's writings. So for this segment of The Spoken Word, I chose "A Dream" by William Blake. 41:33-42:31: The Secrets in Plain Sight! Promo The Secrets in Plain Sight! can be found at http://www.secrets.libsyn.com 42:31-48:46: Musical Feature Eli Goldberg of Prometheus music graciously provided me with the late-Cynthia McQuillin's album "The Witches' Dance" to feature on a show. I'm glad to be able to do so here. I choose the song "Re-enchantment." I also want to thank Margaret Davis and Kristoph Klover, the producer's of the album, for also providing permission to use the music for this show. Prometheus Music can be found at http://www.prometheus-music.com/ Be sure to support your Pagan musicians!!  *edit*  Eli just told me that I have this slightly incorrect - the publisher for the album is Shadowsinger Records, located at http://www.flowinglass.com/shadow.html - which is where you can find Cynthia's music for purchase.  My apologies to everyone for getting this wrong!!  :) 48:46-49:49: Closing Segment --- Contact Information Email: elfster@gmail.com FaceBook: http://www.facebook.com/TommyElf ---
