The love continues! (If you missed part one, here it is.)
Dean and Penny Read live here in Bar Harbor and have been married for 50 years. very active volunteers in the community and we’re going to link here to just one of the places you can find them which is at the Bar Harbor MDI Rotary Club. There were a LOT of great lines from our interviews one of the best gushers was from Dean when he said that he hadn’t given up anything when he got married, and joyfully exclaimed “Look what I got!”
Ken and Linda Perrin own Atlantic Art Glass (which was in Hulls Cove for years before it grew and moved to Ellsworth). Their latest venture is Artsworth, where in addition to offering glass blowing classes lots of other artists over classes and events. The quote Linda was paraphrasing in the interview from Anais Nin: “Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”
Dory Smith Graham owns worthygoods and Nina caught up with her at the Y.
