Ellen Lind, MME, MT-BC is a hospice music therapist in Madison, WI. She holds a Master of Music Education in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Cello Performance from DePaul University. Prior to becoming a music therapist, Ellen spent 15 years as a freelance musician and teacher. As a conservatory-trained cellist, Ellen has performed aboard cruise ships, played with string quartets and orchestras, toured internationally with rock bands, and started her own business contracting musicians for weddings and events. In music therapy, Ellen draws from her years of experience as a performer to bring a unique perspective to the clinical setting.
