With the biggest Pop tunes and the freshest House anthems, here's an eclectic DJ mix-set of uplifting tracks perfect for lazy Summer evenings and ideal for the start of your house party.

Many of the tracks featured here are taken straight from my Saturday night set at New York New York Manchester - I'll be DJing there tonight (15th July 2017).

* 8pm to Midnight: Disco classics and pop hits
* Midnight to close: Chart hits and dance floor anthems

This mix kicks off with some sublime Tropical House. I am absolutely IN LOVE with the way music has evolved recently. The latin flavoured percussion and bent synths really make for a feel-good vibe and really make DJing a truly enjoyable experience.

As the set progresses, we move onto some classic NRG anthems, showcasing the best of Handbag House.

The Freemasons mix of 'Shine' by Luther Vandross has always been a favourite of mine. Many will remember the cover version by Booty Luv that swept up the charts in 2007, but the remix featured here is a typical Freemasons magical affair, complete with their signature anthemic melodies.

I meant to include the Mike Coppock version of 'Glorious' by Jackie 'O' but I accidentally started blending in the Almighty mix. As it went on I realised it works really well..

The mash-up I've managed to slice in this week wasn't too easy, but I think the theme of 'by the beach' really fits well with it. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
