Learn About The B Corporation Movement
There is a different business model in town and it’s set to change the way we do business. Learn how B Corporations are a part of a social movement and a new way of doing  business.
What is a B Corporation?
They are businesses certified by a nonprofit called B Lab. Businesses have to meet extensive standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. (Link to B-Lab) As of today 19 States recognize B Corporations as a legal structure.
There is a growing community of more than 1,000 Certified B Corps from 33 countries and over 60 industries. Their goal is to working together to achieve one goal to redefine what success means in business.
If you own a social good business:
You can take the B Impact Assessment to measure your social and environmental impact. http://bimpactassessment.net/
B Lab is actively looking for more companies to become certified as a B corporation.
