DVC: Started in the early 1990’s.
DVC: Based on a point system to redeem your vacation hotel stays.
DVC: Purchase a bank of points to use each year (minimum 100 points per year).
DVC: The approx. value (cost range based on where you will stat) per point is: $176 (so $176 x 100 = $17,600).
DVC: You can finance with 10% down.
DVC: You can bank (save for later) your points each year, and you can borrow future points (one year in advance).
DVC: There are maintenance fees per point — approx. $6.50 per point ($6.50 x 100 = $650 per year).
