I wanted to create a mix that included some of my all-time favorite artists alongside some present-day selections from various music makers that I have a lot of respect for. The foundation of my musical DNA is represented by the likes of Frank Zappa, De La Soul, The Legendary Pink Dots, The Residents, and The Art Of Noise. Present-day obsessions include Machinedrum, The Range, Kratos Himself, Oddisee, and Lonnie Holley. Some influential producers, poets, and vocalists have been incorporated as well. Last but not least, I must give respect to my man Hired Gun, who I believe will relea se his strongest work to date this year.
