In Modifications No.73 we have no fewer than four featured bands, stay tuned for tracks from The Q, The DT6, The Supertonic Sound Club and The Modulares.
We get a unique insight into the private world of Desmond Dekker with two tracks from an album of demos recorded in his own home studio. Elsewhere we have blues from Sue Foley, northern soul from Long John Baldry, reggae from The Ebony Sisters and jazz from Jimmy McGriff. We mourn the break up of London's finest reggae band with my own personal favourite Delegators track, we listen to some funk that has a social conscience and we draw the curtains with live gems from Bo Diddley and The Style Council.
