In Modifications No.69 we give over our ska and reggae sections to the Strange Tenants, an emerging eight-piece rocksteady band from Melbourne, Australia - we'll be playing four tracks from their new album "Coventry via Kingston". We have original mod sounds from Bold and Outer Limits, and our revival section is full to bursting with good things from The Boys, The Chords, Joe Jackson and The Jam. We get seriously jazzy with The Miles Grayson Trio and Johnny Hammond Smith and we hit the Northern dancefloor with Frankie Beverly and The Soft Tone Needles. Our blues selection is in the capable hands of John Lee Hooker and B.B.King with a little help from Ray Charles, and we run the show out with the sweetest soul from The Chi-Lites, Harold Melvin and Marvin Gaye.
