The UFC invades the home state of the MMA Fight Focus podcast, and Colorado fighters take center stage. Benson Henderson (born and raised in Colorado Springs, one hour south of Denver) makes his Welterweight debut, taking a main event fight on short notice against the white-hot Brandon “Ruckus” Thatch (a Denver native training with the Elevation Fight Team). Thatch is 11-1 as a pro, with all 11 wins coming in the first round. Henderson once held Lightweight gold, so “Smooth” knows how to win at the highest level.
