It's been too long, so we put together a show, just in time for the Winter Meetings. Our apologies for the delay, life got in the way. Thanks to everyone for checking in on us over the past few months!

Here's what you'll get in this episode:

After a six month hiatus due to slacking, laziness and the real world getting in the way, the MLR report is back. You might notice a significant drop off in audio and production quality and that is due to the absence of our good buddy Nick, who is producing his Inside the Jungle podcast on a daily basis (whoot!).

In this episode we introduce Jesse Goldberg-Strassler, longtime voice of the Lansing Lugnuts and accomplished author. MLR hopes to use his talents and diligence to record more than one show every six months.

Also in this show (we are dubbing the MLR resurrection) we discuss new affiliations, new team names and season standouts. Winter meetings chit chat and of course some Rule 5 mixed in along the way. A special thanks to everyone who inquired as to our whereabouts the last few months. We know you all missed the hard-hitting questions such as "what team name do you like better, the Tortugas or the Shuckers" this week.
